Schedule
The official arrival day is Thursday, 29 February and the official departure date is Sunday, 03 March. Friday, 01 March and Saturday, 02 March are full days of talks.
Venue
Lectures will be held in the amphitheaters A01 (on the ground floor) on Friday and A11 (on the first floor) on Saturday, both located in the main building of the West University of TimiÈ™oara (address: blvd. Vasile Pârvan no. 4, TimiÈ™oara). When you enter the building through the main doors, room A01 will be directly to your right. To reach room A11: once you enter the main building, you will see two flights of stairs right in front of you. Climb the ones on the right, then make an 180 degrees turn. Room A11 will be directly to your left.
Housing

By plane

Directly to Timișoara
Timișoara Traian Vuia International Airport (TSR) is 12 km away from downtown (where the West University is located). There are several daily flights from/to major European destinations operated by Lufthansa, Tarom, Ryanair and WizzAir. Express Bus line 4 connects the airport to the City Center. Tickets are available at the parking ticket pay desk, inside the terminal (around 0.80 EUR one way).
Bus timetables: Express E4 (to city centre) and Express E4b (barred) (to the train station).
Taxis are available in front of both terminals. Be sure to check the logo displayed on the taxi: a (possibly non-exhaustive) list of registered taxi companies can be found here. The taxi fare to the city center should be around 40–50 RON (8–10 EUR).

To Bucharest, then to Timișoara
There are direct flights from Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) to Timișoara Traian Vuia International Airport.

To Budapest, then to Timișoara.
There are regular express buses from Budapest Airport (BUD) to Timișoara, see, for example, FlixbBus.

By train
Daily direct trains to TimiÈ™oara depart from Budapest (6 hour trip), Vienna (8 hours), Münich (15 hours), Bucharest (10 hours), see e.g. Austrian Railways, German Railways, Romanian Railways. The national railway company is CFR Călători.
There are trams tram from the railway station (“Gara Timisoara Nord”) to the Cathedral (“Catedrala Mitropolitana”). The Cathedral is 10 minutes walking distance away from to the West University. Or you may order a taxi (the fare is between 0.3 EUR/km and 0.5 EUR/km).
